The parts a feature list usually skips
These are not modules, so nobody lists them. They are also the reason a system is still trustworthy in month six, when two people disagree about what a number was.
Nothing changes by someone editing a number. Stock moves because an issue or a receipt was posted, and there is a row behind it saying who did it.
Create, edit and delete are logged with the user and the time. The first time a figure is disputed, that log is the whole argument.
Permissions are checked on the server, per module and per action. Cost figures disappear for the roles that should not see them — not greyed out, gone.
Add a field to a record from Settings and it appears on the form, the list and the export. Rename any record type and the new name carries everywhere.
Switch from the header. Separate ledgers, separate numbering, separate users — the data never mixes.
Filters, then export. There is no report you can see on screen and cannot take with you.
